Paul A. Dickey, Chairman

Paul Dickey has been a resident of Slippery Rock Township since he was born. He was raised on the family farm, which has been in the Dickey family for over 100 years. Paul was one of the original members of the Township Planning Commission. He became a Township Supervisor in 1994 and has been serving ever since.

In January 2018, Paul retired from the Slippery Rock Municipal Authority after working for the Authority and before that Slippery Rock Borough since 1970. Paul and his wife, Jeanne, still live on the Dickey family farm. Their two daughters and their families all reside in Slippery Rock Township.

John W. Hines, Vice-Chairman

John Hines has proudly served the residents of Slippery Rock Township as one of the supervisors since 1997. In his years of service, John also worked for the township as the Public Works Director and Residential Building Code Inspector until his retirement in 2018. Community service has always been a priority of John’s, and he takes pride in helping his community members.

The Hines’ family farm has been located in Slippery Rock Township since the 1800s. John was raised on the family farm, and still resides with his wife, April, on the family homestead. They have four children and seven grandchildren, most of whom reside in Slippery Rock. John takes his commitment to his family and home very seriously and aims to help make Slippery Rock Township a great place to work, live and raise a family.

Jason Allen, Supervisor

Jason was born and raised in Slippery Rock Township.  Jason has been married for 26 years and has two sons.  Jason is currently the Road Foreman of Slippery Rock Township.  Prior to being employed at Slippery Rock Township, Jason worked at Montgomery Block Works for 26 years.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 8:00pm and the 4th Monday of each month at 3:00pm.

Deadline for the Agenda is 11:00am the Friday prior to the meeting date. Any item not received by the deadline will be put on the next meeting’s agenda.
